Being Confident in Yourself

Early Monday morning, Mandy opens her wardrobe and gazes at her thousands of dresses.  She has all the colors of the rainbow, like red, yellow, blue.  Some of them are big and some are small.  Some are dark and some are bright.  But Mandy just picks her shirt and pants and goes to school. She notices that all the girls at school wore plain shirts and pants.  Still, she was so quiet and shy and wouldn’t even say a word, like she doesn’t even have a mouth.  In that case, she doesn't make a single friend.

The next day after school, it is her mom’s birthday, and it is really special for Mandy that she decides to wear her best dress.  She and her family eat at a restaurant nearby. The restaurant is a few steps away from her house, so they walk home. She didn't notice that most of her schoolmates are at the same place. They see her wearing her beautiful red dress without Mandy even noticing.

When she goes to school the next day, she is shocked that most of the girls are wearing dresses. She is so shocked that her eyes almost fall out!

The next day she is so excited to wear a dress again. When she gets to school, she sees that everyone is wearing a dress too.  She realizes that it's better to be yourself and be confident in who you are.
