The Golf Tournament

Paul was about to tee off when his trainer Mr. Jason arrived and said "Why are you playing today you are suppose to be in school?"
Paul answered “ I am not going to school today because I am going to practice for a big tournament. Do you want to train with me?”
Mr. Jason answered “sure”.

Hole 1
Paul picked up his driver & hit his ball, whack! Paul’s ball flew about two hundred ninety yards before landing on the green. Paul’s ball stopped right before the hole. Paul putted and the ball missed the hole.
"It's too hot, that's why I missed that shot." Paul explained. He putted the ball one more time as the ball fell into the hole.

Hole 4
Paul walked to the tee box of hole #4. It was so hot & windy. Paul asked his caddie to buy him Gatorade in the tee house while he hit his ball. He hit his ball whoosh!  Paul’s ball landed on the fairway of hole #8. Paul walked to his ball, did 2 practice swings then hit his ball.whack!  The ball flew and landed in the water hazard, splash!  Paul walked to the water hazard to check if he could still hit his ball. Paul could not see his ball because the water was so dark and deep. Paul took a ball from his pocket & dropped it on the fairway. Paul was penalized by 1 stroke. He hit his ball and it flew, landing on the green. Paul was about to putt his ball when he heard thunder BOOM.
"Do you still want to continue the game?" Mr. Jason asked.
"Yes," Paul nodded. He putt the ball into the hole.
It began to rain. They walked to the tee house and ordered hotdogs. They talke about Paul's swing, and when the rain stopped, they played again.

Hole 9
"It is hot!" complained Paul while walking to the tee box of hole #9.
"The fairway of hole #9 is so hot & windy" says Mr. Jason while Paul set his ball on his tee. Paul did a few practice swings then he hit his ball. This time it landed on the green and rolled a few yards and into the hole.
Paul screamed," Yes! I did a hole in one!"

Hole 14
Paul set up his ball on his tee as he gulped down Gatorade. Paul hit his ball whoosh! It flew less than two hundred yards then landed on the rough where it was dark & full of trees. Paul picked up his 3 wood then walked to his ball, cleared the leaves around his ball then he hit. The ball was heading to the right then luckily a gust of wind slightly blew it to the left. The ball landed on the fringe a few inches away from the green.
“Nice shot” says Mr. Jason to Paul. Mr. Jason & Paul walked to the ball of Paul.
Talking about the shot of Paul from the rough to the fringe, Paul decided to pitch his ball. Paul pitched his ball a little too strong but still landed it on the green about fifteen feet away from the hole. Paul putted his ball perfectly & his ball fell in the hole.

Hole 18
Paul & Mr. Jason walked to the tee box of hole #18 talking about the game of Paul. Paul did about ten practice swings then he hits his ball whoosh Paul’s ball landed on the fringe about 5 yards away from the hole. He then took two practice swings, pitched the ball as it landed 5 inches away from the hole. Paul did his final putt & the ball fell in the hole. Paul finished 14 over par (86).
Not bad for Paul.

 AWARDING

Later that morning, the commentator announced, “Our winner for today was Chris Grant! However, one of the tournament marshals saw Chris Grant steal the 7 iron of Paul Baylor in hole eighteen. Due to Chris Grants act of dishonesty he will be disqualified, and our second place winner will become the champion. The real winner is: Paul Baylor!”
Paul, surprised at the sudden turn of events, walked up to the stage to receive his trophy! Everyone cheered loudly, as he held the prize in his hands.
